We have not recovered from this Corona pandemic and there's another disaster occured in Tamil Nadu.
According to the reports, this time the boiler of the second plant of Neyveli Lignite Corporation commonly known as NLC power plant has blasted.This is the second blast which has occured within a period of month following the boiler blast which occurred in the first plant. Incident took place on 1 July, 2020 in the morning shift. Reports says there were 24 members in the shift during blast and 14 of them has died and 6 people are severely injured while 2 people are still missing and being searched by the rescue team. It looks like the plant has reached its age limit and the government needs lot more attention towards the maintenance of the plants.
