Well there's been a decisive battle between the world cup and IPL as to which will be played this year. And it looks like the winner for the year 2020 is IPL.
Yes, IPL is on and the venue for IPL this year is not India but UAE. The schedules for the IPL will be out next week so stay tuned for the updates. Even though the IPL is being played, there will be no spectators this year by keeping the safety of the fans in my mind against the Covid-19.
But at last we will be able watch the IPL, may be not from the field but from the comfort of our home. Beside the IPL, it looks like the world cup T20 didn't made this year due to high number of cases in the Australia where the world cup was fixed to be played at first. Well as they say, "Stay happy with what you are". So let us enjoy the IPL and watch it from the safer zone of home.
